How a match plays out

  1. A random stock

One real stock from the markets of the country you are in is picked at random, and its past chart is shown with the name hidden. You only find out which stock it was when the match ends.

  2. See the first 60 candles

When the match starts, 60 daily candles are already on the chart, and you get 5 seconds to read the trend.

  3. 240 candles, one at a time

Then a new daily candle is added every 0.5 seconds. It takes about 2 minutes for all of them to play.

  4. One button to buy and sell

There is only one button. Press it once to buy, press it again to sell. You never buy in parts: a buy puts in this match’s whole investment (or all of it as it stands after earlier sales), and a sell sells everything.

  5. Up to 10 trades

A buy counts as one trade and a sell counts as one. There is no short selling, so you can only make money while the price rises.

  6. Filled at the candle’s close

Your buy or sell is filled at the closing price of the last candle on the chart when you press the button.

  7. Earn more to win

Whoever has the bigger profit at the end wins. If you both lost money, the one who lost less wins; if the results are exactly equal, it is a draw. Shares still held at the end are closed at the last candle’s closing price.

  8. The stock is revealed

When the match ends, the stock’s name, its market and the dates of the chart window are revealed.

If you leave mid-match

  • In a ranked match, pressing “Exit” asks you once more; if you still leave, it counts as a forfeit loss.
  • If your connection drops during a ranked match, you do not lose right away. Reconnect within 30 seconds and the match carries on; after that, it counts as a loss.
  • Leaving a practice match does not change your rating or wallet.
